Thesis

Previous improvements in healthcare have been derived by understanding how the “average” individual in a cohort responds to treatment. In the future, nuance will be added to our layer of knowledge through the delivery of Personalized Medicine.  Digital technology and Machine Learning are 2 tools that help facilitate Personalized Medicine.

Digital technology is powerful in that can improve outcomes in healthcare simply through patient engagement. We are very interested in the power of biofeedback to improve healthcare outcomes without requiring new operations and drugs. The ability of wearable technology to easily track longitudinal data points opens up new metrics and treatment avenues for ongoing improvement in healthcare outcomes. From an investment point of view, Heathtech is an attractive opportunity, given that digital technology has already been validated in diverse fields such as communication, finance, retail and entertainment. Healthcare has the opportunity to leverage learnings and not have to re-invent the wheel. With AIoT Health’s experience at the front lines of healthcare, we can identify the niches and crevices where digital technology can have clinically meaningful impact beyond mere “nice to have” technology. 

Artificial intelligence today is in its infancy, akin to where the internet was in the early 1990s. Someday, all jobs will be augmented by AI. We aim to be part of the evolution and help shape the pathway of how machine learning is applied in healthcare to solve the challenges that will improve patient outcomes.

The use of technology in medicine is about to change by the introduction of digital health, machine learning, VR/AR, 3D printing, genomics, metabolomics, technologies that unlock the understanding of the brain, immuno-oncology and age-reversal therapies. These are the futuristic technologies that we seek to propel into the future.

Probius has a point of care device that uses Quantum Electrochemical Spectroscopy & ML techniques to detect biomarkers based on vibrational signatures. The company builds a propriety library of digital twin biomarkers. Multiscale information from one sample permits knowledge of the dark matter in biology which is key to deep knowledge and hypothesis development.
